Lisa was a member of the Village Authors from its inception in August of 2020 until her sudden and unexpected passing in December of 2022. She was passionate about everything she did, from her profession as an architect, to her love for baseball, Korean culture, and writing. On the open mic circuit, she dubbed herself "LiteralLee", a play on her childhood nickname Lee.
Lisa left behind a literary legacy in poetry, drama, construction of food facilities, commercial and residential renovations, home improvement, gentrification, and sustainability. At the time of her death, Lisa had completed the first draft of a memoir and a romance triology. It is our founder Patricia Middleton's hope to one day publish them in her sister's memory. |
